Meet the Band
Lead Female Vocalist
Nyx
A Singer-Song Writer from Quezon City, Philippines. She manages a Music Production Company named Local Jam Productions, and a small community of passionate artists named Tatak Lokal. Her passion in music is immense, as she not only helps the members of the community grow through the events she coordinates and organizes, but she also dedicates herself in involving herself in other events like performing and creating fundraiser events.
She is fully dedicated in bringing the local music scene up and beyond as she truly understands and believes in the hearts of the musicians.
Nyx is now the Lead Female Vocalist of Libertad and is constantly showing us her superb musical talent, creativity, and drive.
Rythm Guitarist
Miguel
Miguel is a music composer who also likes playing video games. Listening to his beloved father play instruments like the Banduria and Piano, is what made him a great musician today.
"He started to teach me how to play those instruments until I found a guitar in our house I asked my father if he can teach me a guitar and that's it.
Music became the biggest part of my life. I can't live without music, because music is my life and music is the reason why I keep fighting in life. Music is my strength and my passion," Miguel said.
His favorite bands are The Beatles, Greenday, Metallica, My Chemical Romance, and Orange & Lemon.
Bassist
Raven
Raven specializes in music production. He also loves driving and billiards. He grew up in a home where music has been a huge part of their lives.
"It (music) became my source of happiness and a part of what I am today. I've met several talented musicians that inspired me in this journey and I can't wait to be that person to other people as well," Raven said.
His favorite artists are Bruno Mars, Anderson .Paak, Mac Ayres, Queen, The Beatles, and Snarky Puppy.
Lead Guitarist
Asher
Asher loves studying world history. Aside from playing the guitar, he is also a gamer and an anime fan.
He started singing as his hobby at a very young age. As he grew older, he realized that music is really his passion and his source of happiness. "'ve tried to play music instruments from the church that I've attended and eventually wanting it," says Asher.
His favorite artists/bands are Queen, Metallica, Megadeth, Sam Smith, and Linkin Park.
Drummer
Anton
Aside from giving us an outstanding drum performance, Anton spends his time watching and reading romance themed books, watching Korean/Japanese series, and playing CODM.
He came from a household where the people around him embraces music and is treating it (music) as a main source of entertainment.
"It all goes back when I was still a 3 year-old kid, I started to develop an interest on drums. At the same time, I kind of mastered recognizing a tone in every music I listen to, which also helped me to sing. Till then, music became one of my companion in life.
I got my first drum kit at the age of 8 and ever since, I am still using the same kit for my continuous growth and improvements," Anton said.
With the experiences and efforts he put out whenever he's performing on stage, it adds up to him to strive more on his music career.
His favorite artists/bands are The Beatles, Jerry Lee Lewis, Queen, Metallica, and Slipknot.
LIBERTAD: THE STORY
Libertad, an Indie Rock Band made up of a talented team of creative musicians who have been performing together since May 2022. They pride themselves on their technical abilities and musical versatility, breaking boundaries with their exclusive sound.
